it looks like a serious conversation. their expressions and the crossed arms draw me in to them – and then there is so much else to see – like the stripes and crutch in the background, the girls hands and her anticipation of the cotton candy – the other boys expressions.
i like how much they look like teenagers here.
I liked the little girl too so I’m glad you noticed her. Reminds me of how thrilled I was as a little kid when I first saw and had candy floss. (I always assumed “candy floss” was taken from North America as “candy” is such an American word for what is called “sweets” or “toffee” in the UK – but it seems you call it “cotton candy” – perhaps that’s Canadian though)
